ugh from the trailer it was like 'this shitty town sucks and the lonely kid finds a road that goes into an old town submerged under water...'

and i figured 'oh cool they'll find something crazy in the underwater town or there's some evil ghost or treasure or they'll somehow save the town or <insert lots of other ideas>'

but it was just 'this shitty town sucks and here are dramatic people who live in it'

not a movie, but rewatching game of thrones. lots of stuff im noticing i missed the first watch. lots of foreshadowing in season 1 and 2 that you dont pick up on until seeing seasons 3 and 4.
