Another Earth looked promising from the trailer. But it turns out its just about a girl who wants to win a ticket to the other Earth to see someone who died or something.

Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon
its a strange, feelgood documentary by mike myers about his manager, who started by selling weed in a shitty motel in LA and his neighbors were Jimmy Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin. they were sitting around getting high and said 'hey shep ur a jew u should be a manager' so the hooked him up to manage Alice Cooper ... and it goes from there

The Long Goodbye
it's an old detective movie that's really 70's cheezy but its awesome. my buddy lives in the apartment the main character (marlowe) lives in
theres lots of funny little details in it if you're into movies - marlowe smokes in literally every scene in the movie (even in jail). there are no static shots - the camera is always moving. there's only 2 songs in the whole movie, and the 2nd is only played in the last scene. the rest of it is just one song (the long goodbye) done a shitload of different ways. he walks into a bar, the guy on the piano is playing it. goes into the grocery store - a different version is playing. the elevator plays it. a bunch of hippies are singing it at a party. he goes to mexico and its like, a mexican version of it

I've been bored also trying to find something to watch, so I started looking online on You Tube, and found a bunch of short films by film makers around the World. Most are subtitled, but some are pretty good, like Jitensha (Bicycle) by a film maker in Japan. Here's a You Tube Mix Link to about 50 different ones:
