What coconfuses me, is the machine seems to work in reverse...
The first image is what I dream about, and the rest are closer to my reality.

I misunderstood this post at first. Thought you meant that the dream images were working in reverse, ya know, with you seeing the original image as what you dream about but the processed pics were closer to your reality. I was going to instruct you to see a psychologist + psychiatrist because what you are experienced is known as psychosis.
