Stumbling back into the tribes community here this past week, I've got to say I'm a bit delighted to see that people still exist in it.

In any case, reading this made me feel all fuzzy and stuff...Makes me think of that time S_hift and I hung out in DC, lol... Anyways... Been playing lately, and uh.... Tribes is like riding a bike so I can't say I've lost too much of my "touch."

I'll be off and on periodically. Hopefully, I'll get to play with people sometime.

Well quite a bit really...

I'm currently finishing up my Bachelors in Applied Physics with my minor in math during the day. Working in quality control and compliance for Kimberly-Clark Corp. on nightshift keeps me wrapped up a bit during the night. Throw in a girlfriend and building competition car stereos, along with theoretical acoustics research splashed in between all of that....and you have the majority of the reason why I stopped playing tribes.

In a nutshell: Been pretty damn busy on cloud 9.

I do hope everyone is faring well... It doesn't seem to be as active here anymore...

There was a huge drama spill about a year or two ago, which killed a lot of the Tribes community.
I mean, when Ascend came out, everyone was still the admin hard on that they were, and enforced power where it didn't need to be.

But other than that, tribes is like 15 years old so what do you expect?

Personally I think you were one of the best troll duelers in anni. I'll give you that. Bongwater's ten hour recording/editing sessions have nothing on that.

Akkichu hands down one of the best gamer chicks I know. She owns in Tribes, Cs:s, half life 2, and Dod:s. I don't know many chicks who can hold their own in any fps game let alone tribes. Wish she could put up with the immature low lifes that plague tribes. Most chicks can't even play a game unless its the SIMS or WoW.
