I don't think this was really L.spiro. That bot kinda sucks. Especially in Ultra Renegades. Which is basically like ten times easier than Annihilation.

Also I'm sure that L.spiros bot worked in two ways. (he's shown me personally for my own study).

1. Forcing collision data to specified targets.
2. predicting specified target locations and velocity (based on ping and speed data fetched from the servers.)

Also might I add that while being able to do these things, he would need absolute control over the actual server. Which he did at several points. He also handed me admin quite frequently lol ahh good times. I kinda miss the days when a person who was known well could be handed pub admin and just boot out a few base killers while the actual admin took a break or something.
