One thing I try to keep in mind with every map I make is will other people enjoy playing on it, and is it suitable for the mod? I would agree the maps are a problem and the rotation needs to be fixed with only the "prime cuts"

I think the most important, and neglected guide that I have yet to see; is what I would call a, "De-construction Guide."
aka.) A guide to inform players the best methods in taking out defense, and practical strategies in order to do so...
I find that a good 70% of people get pissed at Annihilation because they feel it isn't team oriented, and that defense is insanely overpowered. While defense is overpowered, there are so many ways for people to go around; destroy; or just render things useless.

So make that!

I Agree with Lawlz .. Crow is the most experience guy in this game.. He have been doing this for ever now .. Thanks to him after so many years we are enjoying this game.. and that is NOT to count all the monies he paid in order to keep the server. (s). I understand what many are trying to do , but If something is NOT broken , don't fuck with it .. I play most of the time , almost everyday , minus this week end ; and when I comeback to play I see few new guys. My opinion is this game will never die as long we have "BIG BROTHER, GOD Crow" .
The most populated server is BR and second the Community and that is because few from here are going there.. which is good ..

Black Sheep is a great guy and a great player, and I do like his pushing forward for the game too ..
I hope whatever happens this game still here and If I get sentence I will find a way to play in Federal Prison ..

How about an Annihilation single-player tutorial mod? I have a fun Necromancer obstacle course where you utilize the ghost pack to walk through walls, phase shift to teleport across a spike pit, disarm enemies with OP weapons so you can advance, etc. I can make courses for every armor where you would need to utilize everything at your disposal to complete the mission. It will take some coding and mapping on my part, but if enough people say its a good idea I will go forward with it.

This a good plan. One idea I had was teleporting the player off stage, and cycling the armors/weapons from a 3rd point of view facing the player while giving descriptions of them. This idea have so much better potential though.

I can say with confidence that I know of at least 3 major bugs/exploits in the server that have not been addressed. As well as many other minor ones also. I could fix them easily, and quickly too, but crow will not let anybody else in the community have the mod. Even when he is too busy to make the fixes himself, and when he knows beyond any reasonable doubt that I could handle all of it.

For the record: If you don't know how much code that I have put into BR, you probably should to look into it and get the facts before stating your opinion. It just so happens that crow consistently "forgets" to put me into the mod credits... even though I have been helping him and coding for him since like 2010. (Back when I made the arena, and began the "Legendz" project with him. Before he decided that he wasn't going to share the mod files anymore)

Anyway, now we are left to deal with the people who are abusing these exploits... and to deal with the gameplay bugs as well, while simultaneously having to wait around for crow to provide a solution (which he has said himself that he does not have the time to produce). Maybe he wants us all to just remain dependent on him? It just so happens that when I decided to stop coding for him (for many of these same reasons), that crow happened to get very busy all of the sudden. No updates have been made to the server ever since; it has been 6 months now.


Crow, If you don't think leaving major bugs in your mod will run players off, you haven't been paying attention to how many people have already left. In the amount of time it took you to respond with those long ass messages you could have fixed these things already. But oh wait, you don't have the time. Quick, stop posting before it looks like you actually do


I'm done. Ban me, tell me I'm wrong, it doesn't matter. The facts remain, I have always helped you and been loyal to OZ since I joined. I taught you quite a bit and you still know quite a bit less than I do when it comes to these things. Thanks for hosting your server, sorry you don't have enough time to take care of it. Take my advice or don't

This is the best idea I've heard in a long time.
Even some vets like me are unfamiliar with all the armors and options available.
This sounds like a great way to learn them.

And for the record, aside from the base arena code (which since then I have put more than 4x the work into it, which is the main reason I didn't want to switch the loading system to your new code), what else have you coded for the mod? Yes you have helped me and taught me a lot. And I have come to you seeking answers many times when I got stuck. But most of the time I would code stuff by my self though bob. Granted it probably was due to the fact that I don't share the mod. Out of the 3 people who do have it, only I know how to mod it. You might also be happy to know, that the newest version does have your name in the credits.

Chill out bro, and I stopped coding 6 months ago because I took a break. We all need to breathe every now and then. I know I might not be as fast at coding as you are, but I would still say I'm pretty good. There's not much you can code that I can't.

Final note, I still love u bob, chill out brother lol. If you ever want to talk about mod ideas, or other things you have in mind, I'll be on xfire when im on this week. Mostly after work because I've been doing 40 hour weeks. Weekends I'm normally busy with my kid.

I'm just looking out for everyone. We will get past this and eventually find a solution to these things, but I want to make the situation clear. We all have a responsibility to keep the game alive. We can do anything we set our minds to.
