hmmm the real problem with hm though rolo is not toggling to know where players are. yea that would def give an advantage, and maybe make u a little better. but the real threat of hm in annihilation is preleading. a player who can prelead with a pbeam is just insanely unstoppable. ive known players who were on the same skill level as me and shift with pbeam who use to prelead, and i had honestly thought these people used autoaim because of how good it made them. this was when i had first come to anni, and my knowledge of hm was very little. this is what i mean about openly allowing hm. i dont want the servers to go back to this type of game play. it wouldn't be good for tribes.

you cant hide a prelead from an experienced player. not even i could hide a prelead.

true true, Vidal's brief stint comes to mind as he was pretty amazing when he first came on, [albeit blatantly hming] but then the few times he played in Titan without it he was shit. Also Ganjakiller when he would snipe.

I was only using your skill+experience as an example, not meaning you personally. arguable on the new players finding their way through tribesone.com website. And I don't know what the problem is Shift, I've used one of the generic Asus laptops you'd find at Best Buy for ~$400 a couple years ago and I've ran 1.40 perfectly fine for over the last year.

120 fps is actually fine for me. i didn't have any issues with it on a more modernized pc last night server was at 20+ it was packed, but i was too drunk to play.

Couldn't agree more to this. I've been running 1.41 for almost 2 years now on my 5 year old laptop with no problem. I'm only running an old nVidia 230 GTX. I honestly see little difference from my 1.11 config. The differences don't effect my game play.

its nothing really stubborn about it. I never really liked 1.40 simply because it didn't have presto pack. make a presto pack for 1.40 and 1.4 would easily be the best thing around.

other than that its just Tribes and andrews shit config tied to torque 3d software.

lol 1.40 comes prebuilt with an upgraded presto. there goes that argument. with how much time you have spent on config, you should be able to figure out a more advanced / upgraded presto.

This is blatant proof that he will release a bypass after forcing people to run an anti cheat client-side modification. How much evidence do you really need?

actually opsayo and i both toyed around with how to bypass 1.41 and its actually a fair bit more complicated than we thought

and we both didn't care enough to keep trying so nothing more was done on it after that day
