Midair Alpha Release Update
Re: Midair Alpha Release Update
Iguana = Raptor but I'm unsure if that was the name in Ascend or if the midair devs were unhappy with the name so they changed it.
Re: Midair Alpha Release Update
Midair is currently on sale on Steam for $20

Re: Midair Alpha Release Update
Any hope of mods yet? Until we can build Anni in MidAir, no buy for me.
Re: Midair Alpha Release Update
It's unlikely. We would be better off starting a new game based on annihilation mod for that. The $20 gets you access to the closed beta of Midair. They've already announced that Midair will be free to play once they get to release, so anyone not wanting to buy can hold out for that.
Re: Midair Alpha Release Update
Keep in mind that everyone who purchased alpha or beta entry will have enough experience to whoop your ass when it finally gets released for free.
Re: Midair Alpha Release Update
The $20.00 also gives you a progressions pass to everything in game. It will be a F2P game, but you will have to earn all your weapons and armors if you go the F2P way.

Is it going to have a real life currency shop? I really want to play a game where you need to earn everything, no shortcuts.SpydeR. wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2017 9:17 pm The $20.00 also gives you the access to Max Performer and a progressions pass to everything in game. Re: Midair Alpha Release Update
If you contributed to the Kickstarter campaign, you've already received shortcuts/bonuses.
If you start playing when it's free to play, you'll be at a disadvantage, but there will be no shortage of players to play with.
I don't know if they'll continue to sell advantages once the game is released. I suspect the answer is yes, but on the other hand, there was a limited number of certain bonuses one could buy through Kickstarter.
