i can't supply or support any of the things opsayo is doing with 1.4x because it is leaked code. in that mlk thread
i did post a two line bypass script for 1.41 which should clue you in to how easy it is. those who had stated that
there was no bypass or that it was too hard simply didn't know what they were talking about - or worse had an
agenda.

so if you think you are going to gain some anti cheat benefit by going down opsayo's road i would encourage
you to forget about it. you will gain nothing and you will lose player base.

I think Plasmatic is using my unhappymod 2.0 patch on his blue sex server and you can also play around on my
United States Base Unhappymod 2.0 server.
You can't overwrite the whole function though. The only person who could do that is the person with the script, or someone with a years worth of time on their hands. Yea a bypass could easily be made with the way last hope works, but you would need access to every check the server does (or every possible check it could do). If you were to add in new checks every week, then anyone who might have the script would also need to know the new checks being added. I already have a copy of the community mod, along with a copy of the script opsayo uses from a few months ago. I also came up with the same idea before I even saw it in the thread you posted the overwrite. There is another way to bypass the system also, but that is not something I will post in public. Not sure why you posted the idea that you could overwrite in public either.

Our server is also not open to the public, as only 3 people have access to it, and I trust all 3 not to share anything from it without asking each other first.

and yes like shift said, the idea behind unhappymod is awesome. still flawed though in the fact that sometimes you can be looking right at a player, but not truly see him because he's on the edge of the corner.
