All installers come with up-to-date master servers, so you can just install & play

my win8 patched .exe just fixes plugins not loading so if u dont use plugins u dont need it, otherwise afaik tribes runs fine under 8

altho u can use that patched .exe without plugins and on older OS's just fine, it does load plugins earlier than it did without the patch which can cause (or resolve!) some scripting issues

i made an installer a while back and updated it not that long ago with all the hires terrains, haven't really told anyone about the updated version but it's getting hits from links so i guess people found it on their own by poking through my folders

it has options for a stock install as well as 2 sets of HUDs, and options to install some demos, skies, terrains, skins etc

i should probably add the hires base textures and win8 pluginfix at some point though

ya my site's hosted outta north virginia so east coasters will get the best speed, i max'd out my connection at 5300 k/s just now testing but if you're farther away routing can be a bitch

really should update it with the pluginfix tho, ill try to get around to that this weekend but i think the only plugins that config uses is the nogreenlines plugin anyways

I downloaded it. Have to get over this permissions issue that I'm having with the .msi generator program but a solid download page with installers (that everyone can use on their own websites as well) will be helpful.
