Microsoft and Dell have killed Tribes for me

I was forced to reformat my game computer (Dell Latitude D620) recently, and I used the same master disc for reinstalling Windows XP that I've always used...
Now the idiots at Microsoft won't activate my OS because they say it's been used on too many computers already, which is horseshit because I'm trying to activate it on the same computer as before.
They suggested I call Dell.
I called Dell, and the first thing I told them was the model of the computer. The idiot there kept me on the phone for 20 minutes and needed to be told 5 more times that it was a Latitude D620 before he decided he should transfer me to the "Latitude department".
The next idiot need to have the problem re-explained to him 3 times before he understood what I needed to have done, and then he asked me for the "service tag" number, which I gave him. (It's displayed in the BIOS system info screen)
"I'm sorry, but we have no record of that number".
WTF? I didn't pull that number out of my ass. It's a fucking Dell number. Why don't they have it?
It seems that the only way I'm going to get my Tribes computer working again is to re-install XP from an actual Dell master disc.
Does anyone have one? ...or a better idea on how to get my OS activated again?
