Pressing issues with steam.

I finally got around the "steam could not connect to network" error just so I could run the damn thing.

I did a search on some half life gold source mods. Found a few cool ones like brainbread and panic.

I go to the steam store to see if these mods exist and are listed.

I download the base for these games (half life) and pay with credit card.

I went back to download the mods and got this message "SORRY, WE COULDN'T ADD YOUR ITEM!"

Naturally since I have no desire to play half life unless I can play a decent mod with it. I go to the help panel and turn to steam support so i can receive a refund for my purchase. Why would I pay for a game I'm not going to play?

I read the instructions carefully and made a support account so that I could receive an account verification via the email address I registered with. The very email address I've ALWAYS registered with for EVERYTHING.

I've yet to receive an email from valve support. I have done EVERYTHING to ensure that I would not miss this email from ever appearing in my mailbox.

I look deeper into some of the conditions of the valve return policy.
The Valve Store only accepts returns and exchanges for physical merchandise within 30 days from the date of purchase.
I wont even go into detail on how fucked up that return policy is even for physical merchandise.

Valve has just fucked me in the ass with a chainsaw.

I've never tried to get a refund for something on Steam, but I've heard bad things. That said half-life dm is still fun as fuck we should play sometime. Sometimes the Black Mesa devs will host a server to play with the community and there will be a ton of people on for a few hours.

Hey Death!

Question is this something we can host our self's? On a dedicated side like Tribes Servers? If we could we can do it all the times. Also what is the Max players those servers can host at one given time? 10 20 40 60+?

Thanks!
