I agree, but I think the porn industry is a little confused about the definition of VR.

Most "VR porn" available is not VR at all... It's actually 3D porn... In other words, they film it with stereoscopic cameras, typically from the male star's point of view. Then, rather than making the video compatible with all stereoscopic displays, they have chosen to make it compatible with VR headsets only, so they can get in on the fad. Real VR porn, is where you have complete control over the position and orientation of the camera, in a virtual scene. This is accomplished using 3d rendering of virtual avatars in a virtual scene... In other words, you could choose to be master chief, face fucking Zelda on the mars, if you wanted. Or, you could watch two other characters fucking from any camera angle you wanted. This is achievable because the entire scene is rendered using CGI. The porn stars can be photo-realistic, meaning they take thousands of photos of specific porn stars, mapping how their joints bend, skin stretches, faces contort, etc... But in the end, the entire scene is virtual... You can make the avatars do things that the actors would never have agreed to do, such as snuff porn, or even, you.
