I just bought a truck.

It's a 2018 ford f-150 FX4, with 16.7 miles on the odometer.

The moon roof is so big, I call it my observatory. S']['U could probably land an APC in it.

It has a built in 4G LTE modem and wifi hotspot, so I can control the door locks and remote starter with my cellphone.

Pandora, navigation, Sirius XM radio, backup camera, blind spot sensors, etc...

It seats 6 people due to the bench seats in front and back.

9000 lb towing capacity.

And now I'm poor again. But unlike the last time I bought a car... This time I really love it. I wasn't coerced by my parents or boss... This was 100% my stupid decision!

My insurance agent asked what I'd be using the truck for and I really had to think about it, because I don't actually need it.

I live on a boat. I work on many other boats. A car won't be able to bridge that gap unless it's amphibious.

I'll use it to tow a trailer about twice a year and I'll use it for grocery shopping and taking my grandparents to their doctors appointments... but I do not need a vehicle for my daily routine, at all.

I just blew a lot of money for no reason. But I love my new truck anyway.

Really nice Perr! I personally am not a fan of Ford gas motors (but love their diesels F-250 and F-350), due to being a mechanic in my past years and working on them and bunch of other name brand vehicles, but I have to say, it's really NICE! Ford had to improve their vehicles, so they bought 55% of Mazda to intergrade the designs together, but unfortunately when they did that, it dropped the sales of Mazda a bit, but improved theirs and their sales. Now a bunch of manufacturers are copying their look.

So as for my first statement about not a fan, that was for the older styles, I think I would give them a try with the new designs they have now.

It's easy to hack with a portable scanner to get the access coding if someone has one nearby and using one. It's convenient and a nice feature, but you can also lose what you put your hard earned cash into. It can also be disabled with a hand held stun gun shorting it out and the alarm system to gain access to your new toy.

It's typically parked in a parking lot with a security guard, so I'm not too worried about that.

I'd actually have to subscribe to an unlimited data plan to activate those features anyway, or simply connect the truck to the wifi of every place I park it near.

I'll look into those options in the fall, when I might need to use the remote starter.

Interesting side note: I can't receive wifi from the yacht club that is 100 yards away because someone stole my high gain antennae off the side of the building years ago. However, I can see 5 private networks hosted by Roger Penske's yacht which is parked on the other side of the harbor.

Hopefully that person wasn't using your name trying to play as you. Hopefully it was just a name they made up. If they were trying to play as you, it's pretty sad seeing people not have a life to enjoy an online game with everyone else and to use their own name that they came up with. I've never seen what the enjoyment was in doing this, or to jump into a server and just start openly nagging on others making the rest of the gamers start taking offense to what is happening, and start disliking the ongoing game that they logged onto to play just to drop. It's nice to have online admins when they are needed to keep peace so all can enjoy!

EDIT: You know, I was thinking more about the name they used, and LOL....they could have just been teed off at you P, due to you being a better player then them
