My parents came to visit and brought a frozen turkey.
It didn't thaw in time, so we went to Cracker Barrel.
Overheard other customers saying there was a 2 hour wait, they were out of mashed potatoes, stuffing, and almost out of turkey.
Went to a much more upscale restaurant called Johnie's and had a wonderfully expensive meal.
Visited my grandparents on the way home.
Not much to complain about other than the unnecessary amount of miles I added to my odometer.

Watched some movies, cooked a smoked turkey and a Cajun one, ate pies and some dip. All was well.
