heh that's really odd, idk what i did wrong. i rebuilt the dlls and .zip and reuploaded as .16 but there really shouldn't be any difference between that and .15
maybe it's just the whole stupid options screen crash that i dont seem to get anymore but had like crazy when i was testing early versions
which in itself is odd. like i was getting it all the time and then it went away like magic and i haven't gotten it in weeks now
edit: LOL just got it again too, i had to ruin my streak by talking about it
is there a Back Ground Music script for Tribes1?
Re: is there a Back Ground Music script for Tribes1?
I remember early on when 1.40 first leaked client crashes seemed pretty frequent but went away for me too. They still happen from time to time though in the usual spots, like navigating options or refreshing the server browser (I think nofix said that one was related to having a server selected when refreshing).
Add in one of the T:A songs and have it play when you pick up the flag.

heh yeah i actually kinda half tracked down the options screen one, it's a dynamic cast on the options screen to what im guessing is a null value somewhere, one day i'll figure out which oneFixious wrote:I remember early on when 1.40 first leaked client crashes seemed pretty frequent but went away for me too. i probably should have done that tonight instead of making this
i'll probably throw it into a future release, the volume slider doesn't work yet but everything else does
Re: is there a Back Ground Music script for Tribes1?
I added the five music files from T2 renamed to Track12-16. I'll be adding the TV combat sounds next after I convert from Oh-GG to mp3. Adding tracks seem to work well. One thing, TV sounds are a lot shorter. I haven't noticed if the random file that plays continues to loop itself, or if it cycles through to the next playlist file.
BTW, you continue to tease me with that config.

Re: is there a Back Ground Music script for Tribes1?
you can throw in any additional MP3's with any filename, the only thing it might do is mess up the order of the files that play based on map (but u can turn that off)
i was testing last night with around 100 songs in there and it seemed OK although one album wouldn't load for whatever reason
heh and i'll try to slap together that config 4 u virus - did u try the older version i linked u?

Re: is there a Back Ground Music script for Tribes1?
Thanks Groov. Yes, I have used to the one you gave me, and its perfect, except, when I added the soundtrack script, I loose the huds. The only working hud is the compass. That's about it. If I remove the Windows8 pluginfix, its back to normal, but I'm without the mp3 plugin.
Edit:
Along with the T2 sounds that I added earlier, I also added the "combat" sounds for Vengeance. Now, for Ascend. Anyone have those?
@Fixious, if you want the TV sounds, let me know.

ya that's a scriptGL config so if u use the pluginfix u gotta move scriptGL.dll to the /plugins folder and scriptGL will load againvirus wrote:Thanks Groov. LOL That entire time I was moving the ScriptGL folder into the plugins folder. [Instructions weren't clear, got penis stuck in door.]Groove wrote: ya that's a scriptGL config so if u use the pluginfix u gotta move scriptGL.dll to the /plugins folder and scriptGL will load again
Thanks. These are both the same files. Was this your intention?Fixious wrote: Announcer and VGS sounds: http://www.mediafire.com/download/b0d0t ... +Files.zip
