Phase shift is a lot better at getting home once you have the flag if you do manage to get it. With ghost pack you have to contend with either slowly killing yourself while ghosting for better kickback and mobility or flying like a rock with ghost pack off. If you can hide a getaway vehicle somewhere before hand it works wonders.

Another underused tactic is warrior with a sensor jammer pack. There are a lot of times where you can manage to fly right by the laser turrets and grab the flag while jamming. The enemy sensor has to be down and they can't have other minor defense like motion sensors also if any enemy is looking in your direction the lasers will detect you. I think a lot of players just don't really understand how the different sensors and jammers work. If someone didn't understand cameras, pulse sensors and motion sensors I wouldn't be surprised.

Edit: known issue with the latest patch is if you have the enemy flag and try to purchase an already set favorite which uses the chameleon armor it's a little messy and you will auto sell your pack and most weapons. If you click to buy chameleon with the autobuy it works correctly and only gives a deny message.

Is there another use to cameras besides looking around with them through command screen? They seem pretty worthless if so.

Also, crow and I noticed that health packs are randomly throwing now when you press H (not anywhere near a deployable). It might also be a good idea to get rid of the "health kit already used" message because it looks like you can spam it. Might be possible to crash the server if enough people were spamming it.

Yeah I've had a few random health kits fly out also

I used to phase shift through Broadsides and Scarabrae back before ghost pack was invented.
Getting out was easier than getting in, because you can't phase shift near the enemy flag, but you can phase shift with the enemy flag.
I don't recall it having a random chance of dropping the flag, though. Maybe it did, and I was just lucky.

Added the following ski maps:
ExtremEities(Skiing)
SkiWay
Xtremeski
XtremeSki2

Most of the maps themselves are more or less finished, but the annihilation racer code still needs some work. Annihilation racer outfits the maps with a checkpoint system and lap count and timer. The maps need to be tested on the server to see what works and what doesn't and find problems that I just can't find solo.

Known issues:
'best lap time' is not tracked at the end map screen
deaths aren't tracked in the tab menu
the finished lap time is not always correct

Are the new maps "USER" friendly, or do we have to download them in order to play them?
