Well, aren't all deployables self-powered? If your power is out, should EVERY deployable also be disabled? Seems odd to cherry pick, but if it helps balance things so be it.

Hmm... Can you give me an example of where they spawned?
It shouldn't be random, at all... I didn't change the coordinates of where they spawned, just checked if there was something in between the station and the zappies.

Yes, mobile inventory stations are the only deployable that require a generator.
Personally, I think all of them should, so turrets are disabled when generators are raped, too.
And you should only be able to deploy them within range of a generator.

I like that the mobile invo's stay online when the gens are down. Sometimes when your team is getting raped by good heavies who are keeping your generator room locked down; example: raindance, its nice to have a invo station somewhere that you could even out the onslaught of the entire other team playing nothing but Offense.

That's what airbase is for. Easy to defend, yet somehow also easy to rape... Makes a great sniper roost. Deploy one before you get raped and set it up on the peek of a hill overlooking the enemy base, or close to your flag, if you prefer to use it defensively.
On stonehenge, I prefer to deploy my air base behind my flag, at the appropriate height to block people who try to speed cap, and cover it in turrets.
