I updated gameserverlist.cs and serverpref.cs in my config folder according to the "message of the day" here: http://www.maxogc.net/tribes/master/index.php
That succeeding in making the servers show up in the list again. But if i wait for the list to refresh, all the servers disappear and gameserverlist.cs is overwritten to be blank. If I join a game without refreshing the list first, then I get the loading screen. When the loading bar is finished, now tribes crashes. So I half-fixed the missing servers on the my list, and also caused an entirely new problem. Unforunately, I did not back up my previous serverprefs.cs file.

Just now, it did not crash the program after loading, but gave me an "invalid packet" error message.

Having the same issue with only pinging a handful of servers. I'll see if I can find a fix a minute.

Edit: Found a working master on the tribal war forums.
To use my super fast master server

start tribes

Options->Network->Add
name: bugs_
Address: t1m1.pu.net:28000
[Done]

make sure that one is selected

back to main menu quick start refresh all
WHACK!

i make an entry for each master server so if one dies i can select another.
I had to add it and then refresh all and then refresh all again and it seems to be working fine now.
