That sounds legit ...but that's not really what's been happening.

I would call this bullying:

This is Rolo kicking fish from the server for no reason, and with NO VOTE.
Rolo even admits that he's abusing the temporary admin powers that someone gave him, and he thinks it's funny.


This is the kind of unwarranted harassment that fish has been dealing with.


This is Rolo harassing me because he thought I had unmuted fish.
Rolo also threatens to get S_hift and Gravedeger to help him, and RePublic volunteers to help him.

FYI: I don't like fish, but I hate server bullies more.

I say if fish is playing, let him play.
If he's trolling from OBS, I will spawn him so he can be voted on.
If he's muted by vote or kicked by vote, SO BE IT.
That's the correct way to handle this.... not by harassment and bullying.

Well compared to that, its barely a breeze vs the hurricane of fish's trolling. Honestly I would have no time at all to play Tribes If I kept records of all the shit that fish throws at everyone.
It just shows how much of a clue you actually have of what fish does, most likely only taking note while you have had this sudden promotion to admin. .

If fish had actually been banned a few years back, I know a few people who would've stayed around much longer. Consider it, why keep 1 person around who's doing constant damage to the community, when most likely it will end with many more just leaving because of fish's onslaught.
Its only that fish sucks up-to you, that it keeps him in game while others have to actually live with it.

I just mute Fish automatically if hes spamming the chat, then play my game. But in order to know if he`s there to play or to troll and spam,
we have to allow him that chance, kicking him before he has been given the opportunity to prove hes just there to play..

Don't misunderstand me... I'm not siding with fish. I have dozens of demos of him harassing me...and then he would come to the forum and lie and say I started it.

I am very aware of how he behaves when there are no admins around. I've seen it myself.

All I'm saying is that if we are going to deal with him, we should do it by the book and not stoop to his level.
In the chats I posted, he had done nothing worthy of a kick. There were several votes against him that did not pass, but Rolo took it upon himself to kick him anyway.
If I had done that, I would no longer be an admin.

I take the responsibility I've been given very seriously...
For a long time I was judged by my reputation, not on how I actually conducted myself in the server. Now I see the same thing being done to fish.
In his case, his reputation is deserved, but that still doesn't mean he should be treated badly when he's actually trying to play like a normal person.
Tomato also has a bad reputation for base-blocking and BKing, but we still allow him to play unharassed as long as he behaves himself.
Fish should be given that same chance.

After all, if I was never given a chance, I wouldn't be where I am now.

You know that very well wont happen, there are many that slowly get dragged into those arguments without even noticing.
This causes disruption of the peace, many people get end up quitting tribes all together.

Treated badly? by majority votes? Also if the admin deems that person as a distraction to the game, its his right to mute him.
I also ask at what cost, He may play like for like 15 minutes but then starts up an argument for the rest of the time hes there.

Your not being fair by defending fish at all, stabbing those in the back who have been harassed by fish and the many that have gotten no justice for whats been done past and present.
