This has probably got to be the dumbest map in existence. Not only is the lighting bad, but the space you have to travel between bases is soo jagged and sharp it resembles the inside of Charlie Sheens nose.

I learned how to make maps in a week. Who ever made this map decided to take Roller Coaster, and then completely butcher it for their own amusement. Not only did they put too many shapes, but the shapes they chose use the ugliest textures in the game!!!
3. Grass Bowl 2
Seriously?! what the hell was wrong with the original?! Was it too easy to Kobe Bryant baby nukes into the enemy base? Are you that retarded that you have to screw up someones original tribes map just so you can put your name in the credit list?!? Yeah I'm talking to you man. Grass bowl 2 was nothing short of the stupidest remake I have ever seen. Dangerous crossing 2 comes pretty damn close considering they're using the SAME FUCKING TOWER SHAPE!
4. bloodbath 3
What's the fad with indoor tribes maps? Are you seriously that bad at skiing on terrain that you have to limit everyone's mobility back to their first day playing tribes? Why make the generators on the other team easy to access while the other team has a nice portable generator tucked away in the back? Who ever made this map. I'm talking to you. You seriously thought it was a good idea to give one team two generators and then give the other team two generators and a portable gen hidden all the way in the back? What kind of person are you? The way a map is designed can say a lot about someones personality. This one says that; I had to make some maps so I just half assed this one, used the arena and a few generators with stations, then just called it a day. Congratulations dirt bag. You have successfully catered to the brainless uncoordinated retards that plague Annihilation to this day.
5. Ewection.
Really? Who ever made this map has an obvious infatuation with male genitalia because that's what each team base resembles. This one got number 5 because Its not that I hate the map THAT much. It just pisses me off a little bit that someone actually spent the time to make it. Also the fact that Owner keeps it in the playlist. I think that's probably what pisses me off the most.

I am here at last to defend my 'worst maps'. Clearly this list is lighthearted and meant to be comical in one way or another and I will ask that you see this rebuttal in the same light should you chose to read it.
Freezer.
I actually tried to fix the lighting on this map and could never get it to work properly. It probably has something to do with the map being very high above the terrain and thus above the actual light source. I never bothered moving everything down closer to the ground because I didn't want people running around on the ground creating useless teleport bases and whatever else people do down there. I did add several point lights around the map to make the really dark spots a little better. Maybe I could move the light source above the current bases position and see if that helps get rid of the black player skins and general darkness.
As for the actual inside design that's intentional. Note that I didn't make this map originally. I only fixed it up a bit for annihilation. As far as base rape goes this map is actually pretty well balanced. It's rare for one teams base to be completely raped for the entirety of the map or right at the start of the match which is a big problem for annihilation maps. If your base is raped it's also easy enough to make a come back considering your whole team is basically spawning inside or right outside it and there are several repair packs. The flag is out front and a bit harder to defend so the possibility of flag captures is still there. You can also opt to try to hold the middle objective to win. Yes it's a kill fest. Yes it's inside. Yes you will have to fight against people who have a working inventory station and the turrets they deploy. I still like it and it was a fairly popular map when I first added it.

The reason I changed this map and put the second rendition of it on the server rather than the original was basically exactly what you said. It WAS too easy to Kobe Bryant nukes into the base, man. It was also too easy to instantly boost over to the enemy base and spawn rape it and continue to die and boost right back over and keep their base raped for the entire match. I know for veterans of the annihilation mod it can be fun to do this and see people drop from the server and maybe it makes you feel pretty good about yourself, but I added a few warrior armor only maps just for you! This way nobody is distracted with trying to repair their assets in vein and will instead fight back. See Cube, Bloodbath, Bloodbath 3 and the built in #arena. I did add the tower on top to make it easier to defend your base. I also added more repair packs and made the inventories and generator in a more defend-able and less exposed position.
I also never added my name to the files of my version of this map. Also note that even if you do edit a maps .dsc file where the objective information is kept the players on the server will not see that changed information on their objective screen unless they actually have a copy of that same.dsc file as well. This makes it rather trivial to "put your name in the credit list?!?" for the purpose of recognition especially considering I only ever sent these maps directly to BR Owner. On the maps that I do add that type of information it's done so that if someone ever got a hold of the maps and looked at the files and wanted to ask anything about the map they would know who last edited it or made the annihilation version of it. Funnily enough I forgot to do that with this map.

Bloodbath 2.
The map you were talking about is Bloodbath 2. Bloodbath 3 is the indoor spawn armor only map that takes place in the Anthill underground base. I find it slightly amusing that you bring up skiing when we're talking about a mod where you spawn in an armor that can boost across the entire map without ever touching the ground and a mod in which heavies simply rocket jump or use jump pads to cover that distance. Skiing isn't exactly Annihilations forte. With that said I think this map actually has pretty good movement potential for an indoor map. The hallways are long wide and tall with nothing to get caught up on and the center corridor has a lot of room to fight in. This is no Freezer.
I added the third portable generator to the bottom teams base because time and again the bottom team was the one getting base raped to the point that there was no chance of making a come back. This was another extremely popular map when I first added it to the server. It was being voted in multiple times a day and it was very clear after many matches that the lower team was at a disadvantage.
For the record I didn't have this thought process: "I had to make some maps so I just half assed this one, used the arena and a few generators with stations, then just called it a day". I didn't HAVE to make any maps at all for this server and almost all of the maps I did add went through several renditions as I updated them based on the way they played. Bloodbath2 was one of those maps. I did what I could to balance the map in a way that each team would have an equal fighting chance. This can be very difficult in a map that isn't mirrored on both sides. I could have copied the entire base structure of this map and lined the two up such that each teams base would essentially be one of the large arenas and thus mirrored. I didn't do this because I wanted the two teams bases to be closer and force more action. It also would have been harder on the players frame rates considering how large the base6 structure is. I think it turned out rather nicely as it's currently rather rare for this map to turn into a D-stack or a five minute map.

Final thoughts:
I have been more or less absent from starsiege tribes for the last year and all of the maps I added don't seem to have been updated since that time. If you were around when I started adding maps to the BR server you would remember that we tested all types of maps for a few months seeing how they played out. I really wanted to get a variety of different types of maps into the rotation at the time. Lots of them were crap and or were received poorly and thus removed with the next update. Some of the current maps could certainly use an update or simply need to be removed still. We can move forward with that now and hopefully get some other fresh maps added if anyone else has ones they have made. I would like to start working on the next map update and if anyone would like to upload maps to be added with it I promise I won't edit their maps in any way or "put your name in the credit list?!?"

Grassbowl - An Iblock would have looked alright too. Even 1.4 users complain of fps loss on that map.
bloodbath2 - I just have a personal thing against indoor maps. But at least i'll never be accused of hm in this one.
Freezer - The point lighting does increase video stress. Try sending me the map file and I'll edit the lighting correctly for you. I don't think the map would really be THAT bad if the lighting was adjusted. I do remember the original version and I'm pretty sure it wasn't night time, also players spawned on the top and the whole right side was sealed off.
