Someone was playing a crossword puzzle on a news paper. Those words "queen" and "silence is golden" are hints/riddles. They couldn't figure it out and started to doodle instead. Seeing the hole in the eye suggests that they had paid close detail to the outlines of the eye, and was drawn by a male with heavy hands.
The fact that their first idea for the hint "queens" is "queen of hearts" shows that they have money issues. Either a gambling problem or relationship problems brought on by money.
The second idea states "queen of the damned" a reference to cinema and displays a slightly darker side of the writer.
the third idea "queen bee" shows a slight relation to their work environment. If you're working on a crossword puzzle at work while on break. Then chances are you suffer from a bought of depression.
My first ideas would have been "Queen Elizabeth" or "Queen Ester" or "Queen Jezebel"
"Silence is golden" is a tricky hint. It may describe words that relate to the hint, but also have silent letters.
My first idea would have been "watch" since the T is silent and the watch is gold.
However the fact that the writer had written very obvious answers for the hints shows that they were getting impatient and couldn't figure out the puzzle. Not only were they very obvious answers for a difficult riddle, but the lack of variation between the answers shows that they were losing their wit.
What I would do is keep an eye out for someone who works around that area. Maybe that is their quiet place? I would hint them off to those riddles, then do a word search of my own and hide my word pad where they put theirs. Sometimes a little mystery is the only form of enjoyment people find while at work.
