http://www.zeus-software.com/downloads/nglide
Glide API wrapper for anyone wanting to try it without the expensive hardware, for tribes it seems stuck at some low resolution's.

interesting I was trying to get it to work in 800 600 but it doesn't support it for that either :(

it also kept sending my tribes to minimized window. switched back to software and everything worked fine.

I also looked up something called wickedGL but I couldn't find anything that seemed remotely safe.

well something that looks good but is stable. 1.4 keeps auto detecting my systems settings and tries to run openGL at the settings it thinks are best. I know it should run them lower. 30 fps at 800 600 in unacceptable.
