The only reason why these guys want to force 1.41 so badly is because opsayo has a bypass for it and is going to share it with his little e buddies. Think about it.
maybe he wants to profit off tribes somehow by making a patch and supplying a bypass, nofix used to do this shit.

Yeah.. it would be terrible if two or three people that don't play annihilation and spend the majority of their time shitposting on a sixteen year old forum had a bypass while all us suckers would be stuck playing with no happymodders in BR.

I like opsayo forcing people to use 1.41; the same should be done on your server imo Crow...as well as the map packs that have been out for a decade. In this day and age if people are too dumb to follow a server info message to a link for said update files...there is no hope for them. tbch that small minority shouldn't ruin it for the majority.

On a related note I thought we went through that before when we first met though Crow, I didn't think 1.41 was coded to work with anni? can't remember

p.s. shift the logic in your statement...if for whatever reason opsayo wanted to supply a bypass/profit why would he publicly out a cheater? I mean isn't that his 'clientele' ?

here is an ss of server after a map where the server hit the 32 cap. first time i seen 32 players in the branzone server since we got it a year and a half ago. forcing 1.41 could cripple that number quite a bit. we tried once in 2007 to force players to use 1.30 on the old land of oz server (kigens idea), and it was a flop of course. although back then you could just join any of the other 4-5 active anni servers. though land of oz was the most active out of the anni servers at that point.

it's a very tricky / touchy subject this one is. i might look into a way to see if i can come up with a patch for 1.30 or maybe 1.20 so netset will work with it. if i can do this, we could try to see if we could force players to either use 1.30/1.20 or 1.41, and i say 1.20, because netset still worked with it i believe, plus im pretty sure it has a detection for the bypass that was used with it for hm.

i'll check it out later this week and see what i can come up with. still keep in mind that i logged in today infact and noticed there was 8 players on, out of the 8 only 3 had 1.40 / 1.41 (the last hope is not updated on server, but can still be somewhat accurate if you know how to read it. which most do).

my 2 cents.

on an unrelated note, some people know my health has not been great these past few months, and i will also see a doctor today to hopefully figure out if it's really bad, or something simple. at this point i think it's either going to be a really bad sinus infection or a brain tumor. im hoping for the first one.

Hope everything is ok man... get your bloodwork done, and an CT scan. A CT scan is a lower dose of radiation compared to an MRI and produced higher quality images and views density material better than an MRI. Don't let them trick you into an MRI.

if you think its in your head, just get the CT so they're not beating around the bush.

Also if you have bad teeth, like cavities in the molars these can spread to the jaw bone and cause infections. If left untreated these infections can spread to the brain.


On a side note: we're gamers, I know how messy our rooms can get. Clean your room of any left over debris like energy drink cans and left over pizza crust that may be forming mold. In some cases these things can be bought on by a mold growing in the home. There are actually several types of common house hold molds that can cause severe allergic reactions to humans.
