Railgun Speargun hybrid?

Been thinking of some new things to the mod myself:
1) Claymore/ Proximity Mine: Has a higher blast radius but lower damage than a normal mine. Can only be used by Cham
2) C4 : Can be deployed and detonated remotely. Will make some funny trolling moments
3) Air Mines: We all know there is a glitch that makes mines float in the air, why not actually make it a thing? Hate those pesky vehicles, deploy some around the base in the air. Can only be used by Builder.
4) Knives: Chams can either chose invisibility beacons or have 3 knives beacons. These beacons (which can only be used 3 times) give u 100% touch-to-assassinate chance.

number 4 is perfect.

chameleon assassin
- throwable? only half damage of a close range melee attack.
- 3 invisible beacons or 3 knife beacons.


builder
- inventory beacon or a starburst anti air mines

troll
- emergency defense beacons or tomahawk beacons. Throwable tomahawks that do half player damage and travel the same speed as a disc.

.... Don't see why chameleons can't carried poisoned knives and stars nigga. Heck, replace the lazy, no-good laser rifle with something called "Assasin's Tools" and have the weapon modes for the "Assasin's tools" [in the tab menu like particle beam or whatever] be either 1) A poison knife that cannot be thrown, but only used for melee attacks that does less striking damage than #2's knife but poisons player with herpes. 2) A tactical throwing/combat knife, that goes in line with what shift has already described 3) Throwing stars similar to the spear gun code and things shift has suggested...the stars should be able to be retrieved :D

Betcha good money players will use that over the garbage laser rifle xD

Sorry crow and shift, since I know you're on some laser rifle nuts for no reason. This isn't personal, but it fucking sucks and needs to die. Waste of code.

Didn't Renegades or some other mod have a poison dart rifle?

Yea some mods tried their hand at poison weapons but this weapon has some distinct differences :D

1. It's a knife. Making it already a million times cooler than a poopy laser rifle shape that shot a bullet with special code attached to the damage function.

2. It's possible that an effective cham can use this poison weapon to blind/stun enemies in short range combat due to the continuous red screen from damage. (which we've seen is already important for the cham). Think about how fantastic it would be to kill Shift with the Aids virus attached to your knife Fixious? :D.... Picture this sequence: 1. Melee Shift with knife. 2. Poison Shift with knife. 3. Then immediately switch weapons to jail him. 4. He sits pissed off in a jail cell only to die no matter what from poison damage. :D ...

Picture this scenario instead, if the last one wasn't motivational enough!

1. Melee a titan by surprise and poison them!
2. They kill you with their gay ass phase disruptor.
3.a They can no longer snipe as effectively because their red screen damage until they suicide.
OR
3.b. You kill them 4 seconds later because the poison damage XD knocks off that last bit of health they have from close-range phase disruptor spam :P

Methinks poison blade could be fun. I have no stronger argument than that. ^_^

necrow needs more kill powers that mini pb sucks. it takes 4-5 hits before kill. and phase disrupter sucks, it should be taking out.

That laser rifle is amazing. It makes up what it lacks in power with a high rate of fire. This is one of its advantages in distracting and killing the enemy. Mix that and the phase shifter, and its just all around fun.

Have to agree with Dark.

Crow even amped up the power of the "Death Ray" spell for the necro, if I'm not mistaken. I know it doesn't take 4 - 5 shots on lights or medium armors anymore like it used to. If you want it to take less shots than that, do head shots.

Like dark said, the phase shifter combined with fast firing rate of the death ray makes it highly versatile and effective for tactical removal of defense AND general offensive strategies.
