tribes client crashes on certain maps

Hey,

I'm new to the community, so I apologize if this has been explained to death already. I downloaded the Tribes 1.4 client from the pushbiscuit clan website. When certain maps are running on the BR server my client crashes or does other strange things that prevent me from playing. I tried searching the old BR forum for info about maps and came across this post.

However, the MEGAUPLOAD links are dead (obviously). Also, I don't understand what "terrain files" are in reference to the following statement.

"If you crash while trying to play one of the new maps and are unable to play that map without crashing and you are using version 1.40 try resetting these terrain files to the standard ones that come with 1.40."

The map running right now that's causing my client to crash is "Run the half pipe".

Any help would be appreciated.

maybe its opencall maps that your missing
