1.41 skybox teaser

so I spent all night getting the fog to match the skybox correctly, and I think I've finally done it.

I've managed to use a single skybox for every map, and remove the annoying black fog and made it gray. The follow is a preview of two maps that use nightime (black fog).

now tribes only renders one type of fog. gfg




credits to Altimore for making this wonderful plugin. I look forward to showing you guys what else can be done with it.


edit: you can also see the LoD fix at work in the last screenshot. Just take a look at that wonderful pulse sensor!

It's a work in progress, I'm still trying to find the perfect skybox to replace all the skies. Next thing I'm going to work on is making the lush terrain appear more like moss and stone. a lot of the terrains for download are just way too big, I'm looking for something that will look good maybe even the terrains I made a while ago in my youtube video.
