mouse can't hit start?

Thanks to someone getting on my computer and screwing it up,and i removed windows my tribes wont start, because it wont allow me to hit start its getting all jiggy with it.

Sounds like you need the Vista patch.

Are you using an older version of tribes?

Do you have an ir sensor, or actively running ir sensor drivers?

Did you recently update your mouse/pointer drivers or software? Can you flash back your machine to an earlier date? I'm thinking I read something about this problem somewhere but can't recall. (I'm not really qualified to be advising on this really but I do read a lot just trying to help) What I saw might have been on another site though...
