Hey guys
On a laptop running Windows 10. I have the original disc. What's the best way of getting it patched up and running?

I haven't used Windows 10, and I take it you already installed Tribes on your system. If so...have you tried Windows 10 Program Compatibility Troubleshooter?

you'll need the Vista widescreen patch.

I recommend downloading a fully patched version of the game instead of using the disk, so you get all of the community generated content, such as New client side maps and llast hope

Full Game (v1.40.655)
1.40->1.41 patch

The first link is the full game with all of the client side maps needed to play on a modern server.
The second link is a replacement for Tribes.exe, which contains the necessary patches and anti-cheater stuff to not be bombarded with annoying server messages that make you feel like a bad person for running an obsolete version.

Got the main game on. Player is jumping up and down constantly. Any ideas?

Sounds like a ski script. Check In Tribes>Config folder for autoexec.cs there might be something in there

I can see autoexec.cs but what should I be looking for, a ski script?

someone suggested a ski or happy jump? I can see an unhappy dll in the folder but not a ski script?

found an unhappyjump.dll and renamed to unhappyjump.dlloff but that didnt do anything..!
