This is the motherboard I got.

I just got this CPU
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0759 ... UTF8&psc=1

My next question is this... What do I need to get next? A liquid cooling fan to support the CPU

Or should I knock out the next most expensive thing which would be the GPU. (This is what im really aiming at)

So please send me links to some awesome gpu's my budget is gonna be around $200.00 and I would like it to be a Geforce 1000+ ... Help a brother out. Or I could go to craigslist and try to find a trustworthy person and get it cheap there but honestly I'd rather spend my money on brand new hardware. So send me some lnks guys and help a brother build his first computer and knock out something that has been on my bucket list for years.

Any and I mean ANY help would be greatly appreciated (Remember im ballin on a budget lol).

Peace and Love

(And Perrin answer to your question: Yeah I plan to play some newer games brother. I want to get the best bang for my buck.)

Guys I found this GPU on craigslist. Do you think I can trust this guy?

https://houston.craigslist.org/sop/d/sp ... 68106.html

I got the motherboard off craigslist and it was like brand new.

This is an offer I don't want to pass up so give me your opinions. Look at it and tell me what you guys think. Is this guy telling the truth or is he lying. Just by looking at the graphics card alone it looks kind of new right? He said his girlfriend is making him sell it. But I dont want to get ripped off. LMK what you guys think!

DUDE SOLD IT MAN! Gosh it was a great deal

Check this deal out and tell me what you think

Don't buy that last one.
He wants 200, but newegg is offering the same one for like 120.
He claims it's brand new, but some of the pics show it installed in his computer and dusty.
Also, does your computer case not have enough space for a full sized video card?
That one is like half the size of my video card, and my computer case is designed for a mini-ITX motherboard.

Here is a great deal on the GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 DirectX 12 GV-N1060WF2OC-3GD 3GB 192-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 ATX Video Card , https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product. ... rebbr=true
I found.

Here is a great deal on the Refurbished: Micron 1100 (MTFDAK1T0TBN-1AR1ZABYY) 1TB 2.5-inch SATA III (6.0Gb/s) Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - 3 Year Warranty , https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product. ... rebbr=true
I found.

I know this SSD is more than the one you posted, but maybe if you balance its cost with the video card's rebate, it's still within budget.

When i built my computer, SSDs were significantly more expensive. Like $1/gig. I bought a 128GB SSD and a 1 terabyte HDD. Windows is installed on the SSD and steam is installed on the HDD. I also mapped my documents/ pictures/ videos to the HDD. It worked great until i created a user account for my sister and she filled the SSD with pirated TV shows. Now i get low memory warnings all the time. It's annoying. The 1TB SSD I linked is cheaper than the 128GB SSD i bought. Get you a big solid state disk, son!

Ok so I ended up getting this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M5 ... UTF8&psc=1

They had one from the Amazon Warehouse where I guess the packaging fucked up so they were selling it for 167.00

Went ahead and copped that baby cause you know its gonna be brand new.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0759 ... UTF8&psc=1

This is the CPU I ended up getting.

So heres my next question what next? Do I need a liquid cooler for my motherboard. I know im gonna need a power supply but would a regular fan suffice?

SSD is definitely next. And I like that one you posted but what about this one?

https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Inch-Int ... ywords=ssd

What components would I need. It should fit directly in my case right?

Not sure on how you are about refurbished items, but Newegg is having a big refurbished sale. I just picked this up for $200 less:

This was the link they sent me:

That's like $20 more than the one i posted. Good brand though. Definitely paying for the name there. Same exact capacity. I didn't bother checking the speeds, cause the bottleneck is gonna be the sata3 cable anyway.

They are both 2.5" form factors, which is a laptop size hdd.
3.5" is desktop size, so thre is a chance your case won't have a slot for it.

But if that's the case (pun intended), you can get an adapter, that adds an inch so it fits. Some adapters even let you stack 2x 2.5" drives in a single 3.5" bay.

Which case are you using? Have you bought it yet?
