So you saved $61.61 by getting a used video card :gfive:
But spent $20 more by getting a smaller SSD than I recommended? :fpalm:
And spent $129.99 on a 24" 1080p computer monitor when you could have spent $199.99 on a 43" 4k smart TV? :hpat:

Oh well, I've updated your component list:

$99.99 - Case: $184.99 - CPU: $167.39 - GPU (used saved $61.61 by getting it used instead of new) $60.00? - OLD Mobo: $171.53 - NEW Mobo: $59.99 - PSU: $114.99 - RAM: $119.00 - SSD: $129.99 - Display:
  • ASUS VE248H 24" Full HD 1920x1080 2ms HDMI DVI VGA Back-lit LED Monitor
$1,107.87 - Sub Total
  • +$3.99 - Shipping for new mobo
    -$20 - rebate for case
    -$72 - apology from me

I know it's a bit late to be pointing this out again, but these were the cheap RAM options I gave you:
1 x 16 GB - $79.99 (2666 MHz)
2 x 16 GB - $154.99
4 x 16 GB - $334.99

Instead, you bought:
2 x 8 GB - $114.99 (3000 MHz)

Oh well. The ones you got will be slightly faster than the one I recommended, not that the difference is enough to notice.

Don't forget to read the motherboard user manual prior to installing the RAM sticks.

Some motherboards tell you which slots are ideal for usage when you aren't using them all.

For instance, some motherboards tell you to start from the slot closest to the CPU and skip every other one, if you plan to use half of them.

So, if it's CPU socket, DIMM1, DIMM2, DIMM3, DIMM4, you should use DIMM1 and DIMM3, if that is in fact what your motherboard user manual indicates.

Also, check your CPU box to see if it shipped with a cooler. If so, you're good to go... Otherwise, we'll need to pick one out that fits in the case and decide whether you want liquid or air cooled.

It was temporarily free. I'm not sure how much it costs now. They might have extended the free period.
Microsoft is no longer making money from OS sales. They took a page from Google's book, and are making money from the windows app store instead of from the OS itself.
Windows 10 periodically pops up ads for microsoft products, such as one drive, microsoft office 365, etc... The start menu contains a live tile for the app store, games, news, etc... Those are all ads. They can all be disabled except the microsoft popups, I think. They pop up like once a month or so, much like WinRAR claiming the trial period has expired. I ignore the few ads I haven't disabled. Although, I think I do have a subscription to Microsoft Office 365, that I don't pay for, some how...

Yes, you can add USB ports. They'll have to be on the back unless you feel like cutting holes in your new case or maybe the front white panel is on a hinge?

7 Ports USB3.0 PCI-E Expansion Card
was $39.99
now $17.99
Sale Ends in 5 Days (Sun)
Save: $22.00 (55%)

You won't need the molex to SATA power adapter cord that this card comes with as you're currently only planning on using 1 of the multiple SATA power cables that comes with your PSU.

Also, if you were planning on using integrated graphics or even a thinner graphics card, you could install 2 of these cards in that motherboard, but your video card is a double wide due to it's cooling plates and fans, so it'll obstruct one of the extra PCIe slots.

EDIT: Skip this post. The next one contains a far cheaper option.

OK, I did a little research... You can upgrade almost any older version of windows to windows 10 for free, but installing a fresh copy with a new license is not free.

$199.99 - Windows 10 Pro
$139.00 - Windows 10 Home

Those prices are directly from microsoft.com

You can get it cheaper from newegg.com
I recommend this version:
$149.99 - Windows 10 Pro 64-bit - OEM
Although the home version is cheaper:
$109.99 - Windows 10 Home 64-bit - OEM

They are both on sale, and the sale ends in 15 hours.

The biggest difference between home and pro is whether it includes remote desktop functionality.
Either way, there are free 3rd party apps you can use, but I do believe the microsoft built in version is worth $40, as it allows you to remote desktop to any computer running windows pro, assuming you know it's address and have the appropriate credentials.
3rd party software is required on both computers to work and often bypasses windows security measures, which is obviously a security risk.

I did a little more research and found this: https://www.ebay.com/i/372545111338?chn=ps
Not sure of it's authenticity, but you can download the ISO image for free from microsoft.com, so all you really need is the product key, and this guy's selling them for peanuts... Worth the risk if you ask me.

Windows 10 installation disk creation wizard

Step 1) buy the product key
Step 2) run the windows 10 installation disk creation wizard on a functioning computer.
Step 3) type the product key into the wizard.
Step 4) tell the wizard where you want to create the boot file (dvd or usb)
Step 4.5) Make sure you have a big enough and bootable usb stick.
Step 5) plug usb stick into new computer and boot that shit up.
