How is windows 10 and tribes? What version of tribes do you run with 10 and do you need the Vistafix or what?

1.41 runs without problem on Windows 10. Though, you do have to run the windows10fix.reg to fix overstretched texture issues.

1.11 will need all the fixes that were needed for Windows 7/Vista along with the widescreen fixes. You may also have to possibly run it in compatability mode.

If you use netset, you will need to adjust your settings from what they were due to server issues moving to Dallas. Ping on these servers have went up and do affect your net settings. From what Rolo and I have found, if your raise your pointforwardtime (PFT) by the same as the ping increase, it seems to adjust mostly for the change. For example, my ping went from around 76 to 96. So I changed by PFT from 120 to 140, and this has fixed most of the aiming issues I was having due to the server move. If this makes no sense to you, then you probably don't use it and can ignore it.

Update Death666: After thinking about it, I have seen one issue. A bunch of people getting kicked with the server relaying non-client response afterhope kick. All I asked were on Windows 10 using version 1.41. Some even registered with the server. Mostly happening on the back-up server.

That's what I mean. There is no core difference in coding or function of 1.11 to 1.30/1.31, other than lasthope patches. They are functionally the same.

The same can be said for the difference between 1.40 and 1.41.

Now there is a functional difference between 1.11/1.31 and 1.40/1.41.

Essentially, 1.31 and 1.41 are just security patches for their respected core version 1.11 or 1.40.
