That's such a lazy way to design a website.
They know there's an issue with cross browser compatibility.
They insert a code that detects which browser you use.
They use that function to display an error message rather than a web-page that is compatible with your browser.
What's even worse, is when they've clearly copied that script from a code repository and implemented it in their website without any compatibility issues what so ever.

Re: Yahoo Email
Oh, so that's what they are doing. Yeah, lazy! I'm not familiar with website design. A few of my friends got into it and now that's all they do for the company they work for. I started with old school programming like Fortran, Cobol, Pascal, DOS, Java, C, C++, etc. While I was learning these, they were playing games, or learning website design. Unless we got together on a weekend and played Spades for a $1 a game, while drinking beer that my buddies divorced mother would buy for us due to being under age (Cool Mom!), and us getting free pizza from Pizza Hut, due to my buddy being one of the Assistance Manager's of that Pizza Hut!
K, since where on this subject, list what browser you are using today...I'm ready to try something new again...did use Firefox, until I heard all the issue's they were having and went back to IE. I do have Google Chrome, but the interface I'm seeing....it's a bunch of tabs and when I type in for a search a new tab opens, so now I have a bunch of tabs open filled with a website. I don't like all the tabs. I only use it to check Gmail, and use Google on my phone for searching, but still on IE for most.
Suggestions?

Re: Yahoo Email
I use google chrome, but i like the tabs.
It does have settings to determine when to open new tabs versus when to open in the current tab.
The only time i get new tabs own now is when i right click on a link and specifically chose to open in a new tab, or when those fucking porn ads take over the current tab and open the porn i wanted to see in a background tab.

Re: Yahoo Email
LOL...porn ads! I get all kinds of Yahoo emails full of that stuff from other countries. I haven't played around with the setting for Google, I might re-try it again.
