That'll make the process faster yeah, but he needs to get all the data on his laptop to another computer=Hard drive or Flash drive.Erowid wrote:install more ram'][']-[RiLL3R wrote:To transfer your data over to another computer.S']['U wrote:Huh?Beavis wrote:Buy another hard drive.

Simple. Just use a live version of Linux to transfer the data.

Re: Microsoft and Dell have killed Tribes for me
Because of my left-handedness, I have a very non-standard key assignment for Tribes.
I'm used to the way the keys are laid out on my Dell, so if I played on another computer/keyboard I would have to totally re-learn where my keys are... especially for changing weapons and jumping. (I've tried this already and I couldn't even rocket jump up to my airbase. )
Also. the video card in my desktop computer really sucks and I can't even run Tribes at 800x600 without severely dropping the frame-rate.
..so transferring to another computer won't work in my case.
DaRk sent me a link to an ISO for burning a new disc which I have already downloaded...just waiting until I get a blank CD to burn it on.

You don't need a CD to burn the ISO image on, you can use a thumb drive too
