2016 USA Presidential Candidates

Post by perrinoia »

I'd like to share a funny convo between my twin and I, with you.

Democrats:
The only reason I would ever consider voting for another Clinton is so we can have another scandal... That shit was funny, when I was in high school, and the only reason I can think of that she didn't divorce his ass, is skeletons in her closet. And I'm not talking about a stupid email scandal... I'm talking about a sex tape that no one wants to see, but everyone will watch, anyway. You know, like screech's, from saved by the bell.

Bernie Sanders is the only candidate with a plan to pay for the welfare he's promising us. He's gonna take up archery and wear spandex, then hunt down Donald Trump and the Koch brothers. After he robs the rich, he'll give out scholarships like Oprah. "YOU get a degree, and YOU get a degree..." While his campaign promises might actually score him the nomination, maybe even the Whitehouse, there's probably no chance he'll deliver his promises, or they'll get amended to appease conservatives so much, they'll be ineffective or unfunded, or both.

The other guy just copies everything Hillary and Bernie say, and I can't even remember his name, so he's got no chance in the primaries.

Republicans:
Donald trump is the elephant in the room, the bull in the China shop, and his only redeeming factor is how he's fucking up our election process so bad we might actually get some much needed reform (unless he gets elected). If elected, we'll have the most corrupt system in history...

All of the rest are merely puppets trying to entertain the Koch brothers, with no chance of beating Trump in the primaries.

Does it matter? Micky Mouse is not going to win, no matter how many vote for him...

That's one way to look at it... A better practice is to vote for the one that would be last detrimental to your life... Although, that requires more thought processes.

Well, to tell you the truth, I don't vote, never have, never will. I don't believe that anyone who get's into office can make a difference, due to you having other political offices that will keep that one person from making a decision that will/will not make the difference.

Funny how everyone who says that also thinks Obama or Bush fucked everything up...

I do agree that the "checks and balances" system of government is mostly at a stalemate, but on the other hand both of them made massive changes to this country that effect my daily life.

With Bush, the price of gasoline jumped from barely over a dollar per gallon across the country to over $5 in some places by overthrowing a regime that actually protected the world from the Taliban and ISIS.

With Obama, I went from barely affordable private health care, to completely free (to me) public healthcare because I could no longer afford private health care. Plus, the price of gasoline has dropped back down below a dollar in some places.

So, both of our most recent presidents have accomplished a hell of a lot while the majority of politicians bitch about gridlock.

My father always votes for republican presidents and democrat congress, or vise versa, so he can keep the gridlock going, because he doesn't want the government to change.

I personally believe that the gridlock costs us tax payers more than the programs each politician wants us to pay for, anyway. I'm not saying I want to see a dictatorship, but it would be nice to see government run efficiently in my lifetime... Ideally it would happen through unilateral agreements on something other than attacking the wrong country, in the future.
